Team building - September 2019

On the first Monday of this academic year all staff at our school took part in team building activities at the Yeadon Tarn.  We know that team building activities are very important and they also put adults in new situations and reminds them of what our children have to go through in their learning at school each day.  

On the children's first day back in their new classes we shared with them all the things that adults had learnt as part of the activity through an assembly. The children saw that in order to achieve something new we have to make links with the knowledge that we already have. Making links between their learning is going to be a big focus for the children this year and they are very excited to begin their new learning.
