Valley View Community Primary School is situated on the border of Rodley, Farsley and Bramley, and caters for children aged between 4 and 11 years old. We are a smaller than average, and very much friendlier than average primary school with high expectations of our pupils in terms of academic and social success.
Valley View opened in 2006 and has already established an excellent reputation, both in our local community and beyond. In 2011 we became a two form entry school, and from Reception upwards we will grow over the next few years. The school is a true community school with a real family ethos, where children and staff achieve their potential. Our school enjoys a very strong team atmosphere and is an extremely happy place to work and learn.
As soon as you walk into our school you will get a sense of our ethos. We believe that children learn best when they are happy, valued and treated with respect. Our pupils attitudes speak volumes about our success and we are sure that you will notice that they are polite, responsible and kind. All adults in school treat children respectfully and our pupils are always given rights and responsibilities.
One of our first pupil prefects, Abigail, was asked how she would like our school to be perceived by visitors. Her reply was
"A place which is very very educational but fun. Where children can achieve all that they want to be"
